Day 8 Lent 2026 Reflection: Prayer and Conversion

Lent 2026 Day 8: 

Matthew 7:7-12

 

In this reflection I share on Day 8 of Lent 2026 Gospel Reading. I reflect on what Jesus is teaching us about prayer when he says, “Ask and it will be given to you;” ‘Jesus desires to teach us that prayer is meant to help us with conversion of our hearts. And yes, God will give us what is needed when it comes to conversion.  At the end of the reflection I take a moment to pray with you and give you tomorrow’s Gospel reading if you want to read it ahead of time.
