Discerning Charisms Part 1: Why is this important as a Catholic and my role as a disciple?

Have you ever asked yourself this question; How do I discover what God desires for me in my life? I think if you were to ask your Catholic friends what it means to discern their charisms, many of them would look a little confused. But if you were to ask them what are the 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, they might be able to mention a few. In today’s episode I talk with a great friend Patrick Conley about Charisms, what they are and why is it important for us as Catholics to discern them. We discuss how this discernment relates to our journey of discipleship and the mission of Christ.

 

Patrick Conley lives in Wisconsin, works in the Office of Communications for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and is a trainer and presenter of Called and Gifted for The Catherine of Siena Institute.
