Why Jesus Refused to Condemn Her (And What It Means for You) Mon 5th Week of Lent 2026
If you’ve ever felt unworthy of forgiveness—or know someone who does—this Gospel reflection is for you.
In today’s reading from John 8:1–11, we encounter the powerful story of the woman caught in adultery. While others were ready to condemn her, Jesus responds with something unexpected: compassion. His words challenge not only those who judged her—but each of us as well.
As we continue through the fifth week of Lent, this reflection invites us to look honestly at two things:
Where do we need God’s mercy in our own lives?
And who in our lives needs to experience compassion through us?
God does not seek to condemn—but to transform us through His mercy.
Take a few minutes today to reflect, pray, and ask:
How can I be an instrument of God’s compassion?
🙏 If this reflection encouraged you, consider liking, subscribing, and sharing it with someone who may need to hear this message today.
