In this episode with my guest Dave Baranowski, Director of Parish Stewardship and Leadership Formation for the Archdiocese of St Louis MO, we hope to communicate two very important considerations with Stewardship. The first. Stewardship has to be grounded in Discipleship.  A true and genuine understanding of Stewardship comes from the heart of  a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is critical when fostering true Stewardship both personally and for the parish. Second. Like so many other initiatives, if you do not have an intentional plan for Stewardship, it just meanders. It wanders, and then we wonder why Stewardship isn’t taking root within the parish. In Part 1 Dave shares his 10+ years experience of helping parishes with Stewardship by providing to us the first five of eleven key suggestions every parish should consider.

In this episode my friend Dr Patrick Manning joins me to discuss a great book Called to Christian Joy and Maturity. We dive into chapter three discussing the process of discipleship. You will hear us talk a little bit about what growth can mean for us as disciples. Jesus desires us to grow in our relationship with him to have a deeper understanding of ourselves, so he can lead us into healing, and lead us into knowing the real and present nature of God in our lives. Join our conversation, and see how it may inspire you in your journey with Jesus Christ!
